Digital Content Producer

WYFF 4, the Hearst Television-owned NBC affiliate in Greenville, SC, is hiring a Digital Producer. The Digital Producer will work under the direction of the Digital Content Manager to news‑gather, produce stories for the app and website, and create content for social media platforms. The role includes responding to breaking news on assignment desk, producing original digital and social content, and using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Canva.

• Respond to breaking news on all digital platforms
• Post content to web and mobile app
• Produce videos and graphics for social media
• Monitor and post on social media channels
• Gather and write original digital content
• Participate in daily editorial meetings and stay informed on news coverage
• Develop relationships with organizations and news makers
• Collaborate with sister stations and networks on digital coverage
• Monitor digital and social analytics

• Two years in a TV newsroom preferred
• Knowledge of non‑linear editing a plus
• Experience with ENPS
• Broadcasting degree or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
• Highly organized
• Skillful writer
• Aggressive news gatherer
• Detail‑oriented
• Social media savvy
• Works well under stress and with deadlines
• Good news judgment
• Desire to win in breaking‑news situations
• Team player
• Willing to work a flexible schedule
• Journalism or broadcasting degree or equivalent preferred
