small landscape design/small project sales and high-end maintenance & turf care consulting.
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who loves design, enjoys solving horticultural problems, understands turf/plant health, and thrives in a relationship-driven sales environment.
About the RoleAs a Landscape Designer & Service Sales Consultant, you will:
Meet with homeowners to understand their aesthetic goals and functional needs.
Create small to mid-size landscape design concepts (plantings, bed redesigns, small hardscape features).
Estimate and sell enhancements and small design/build projects.
Diagnose turf and plant health issues and recommend appropriate service programs.
Propose and sell maintenance and lawn care programs that match client expectations.
Guide clients through a clear sales process, ensuring a seamless experience.
Collaborate with both the Design/Build team and the Horticulture/Maintenance Teams to bring solutions to life.
Create and nurture relationships with builders to help create maintenance and small project opportunities
This position blends creativity, problem-solving, relationship building, and horticultural expertise.
Top Responsibilities & Duties Design & Enhancement SalesFollow Precision Landscape Management sales processes and proposal standards.
Collaborate with clients to determine vision, scope, price and design direction.
Draft small landscape design concepts and revisions to secure approvals.
Estimate and sell enhancement projects, seasonal color, small hardscapes, and bed renovations.
Collaborate with the Design/Build team or Enhancement project managers during project execution.
Assess turf, plants, irrigation, and overall property conditions.
Recommend appropriate maintenance or lawn care programs (PHC, turf care, routine visits).
Identify issues on client properties and provide expert solutions rooted in horticulture.
Support long-term client relationship building across maintenance accounts.
Drive both the design and service sales pipelines with discipline and follow-through.
Meet or exceed your annual sales goal.
Build a network of industry partners and client referrals.
Deliver a high-end, concierge-style client experience consistent with Precision’s brand.

Preferred Experience3+ years experience in high-end residential landscape sales.
3+ years experience in landscape design, landscape enhancements, or small project design.
Experience diagnosing turf issues, plant health concerns, and irrigation-related challenges.
Strong understanding of horticulture and landscape best practices.
Sales & estimating experience in either design/build or maintenance services.
Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Pro Landscape, Dyna Scape, or similar).
Ability to read/create plant layouts, bed shapes, and simple hardscape concepts.
Understanding of turf care programs, seasonal maintenance needs, and PHC basics.
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, Turfgrass, or related field preferred.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong follow-through.
Creative problem solver with a client-first mindset.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stay aligned to process and standards.
Base Salary: $60,000/yr
Commission:
Uncapped
• Successful hybrid reps can earn $90k–$120k+ annuallyWeekly pay
