This locum tenens position offers you the chance to work closely with patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, focusing on hematology and oncology. With no on-call requirements during the locum period, this role emphasizes patient care and involves participation on a tumor board and managing bone marrow transplants.

• Participate in a tumor board
• Manage bone marrow transplants and blood bank activities
• Order and interpret tests and images
• Prescribe treatments and oversee chemotherapy administered by nurse oncologists

• Board Certified in Hematology Oncology
• Active SC license (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS and DEA certifications
• Clean background for emergency temp privileges
• Current NPDB required for presentation

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers
• High attention to detail in patient care and documentation
