• Ensure HSE policies are followed
• Drive data‑driven process control, implementing process data measurable including IMPC and Mattec.
• Ensure processes and environment are stable and optimise delivering predictable results
• Participate in new product/process launches (tool validation, process development)

• Work according to HSE requirements (LOTO, cleaning…) and promote a safety mindset on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Ensure safety and security conditions are kept in order within the injection area, alert management in case of any non‑conformity or deviance.
• Implement molding standards and exchange within molding networks best practices.
• Control and optimise process parameters.
• Stabilise and optimise moulding area performance (material consumption, scrap reduction).
• Reduce mould changes over time and deploy SMED.
• Test and validate technical solutions (OPTIPRO and OPTICHANGE projects, plant changes, equipment supplier).
• Analyse process failures.
• Support new project launches in line with OPTIMAP requirements.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities and productivity covering all process areas – cycle times, scrap, downtime, machine/tools and energy.
• Participate in injection assessment.
• Develop injection processes and systems ensuring a framework that will achieve world‑class standards of quality and service to the customer and to achieve environmental compliance.
• Own the injection process FMEA and ensure that standardised work practices are being used.
• Establish effective communication channels with the team and its people so as to realise their knowledge and full potential and to ensure they are working to the same common business goals.
• Continually develop/drive the injection tech team and setters to deliver best‑in‑class processes and standards.
• Own the technical integrity of injection (e.g.: Mattec) database and support introduction plans into the plant injection area.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained by the injection tech team.
• Design and justify new improvements and equipment to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
• Work with other departments to support and solve joint problems – paint, assembly.
• Participate in injection technicians/setters recruitment to assess technical abilities.
• May train and coach injection technicians and operators.
• May programme robots or lead injection robots programmers.
• Put in place effective visual management.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in injection moulding field – willing to work 3rd shift.
• Methodical and data‑oriented approach with extensive experience of moulding plastic parts, equipment management, robot programming and process management and control.
• Experience in a large manufacturing environment, with a proven background in problem‑solving, deployment of industrial standards and best practices.
• “Lean” application to products, processes and flows.
• Proven record of delivering results, problem‑solving and application skills.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of injection processes and systems.
