Civil Engineer Designer Engineer in Training Water/ Wastewater Process

Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Environmental Designer to join our Water/Wastewater Department in Greenville, SC
. This position focuses primarily on wastewater process design
.

Candidate should be able to create civil engineering drawings in Civil 3D, prepare specifications, cost estimates and Water

CAD modeling. Proficiency in water and sewer utility, drainage, and erosion control design required. Experience in design & permitting water and sewer related projects and client/contractor relationship experience a plus.

Experience: 2+ Years of strong AutoCAD based design skills. Experience in the design of municipal water and sewer systems is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. EIT Certification or ability to become EIT certified within 6 months required.

• AutoCAD, Water
  
  CAD and Civil 3D software applications.
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• The ability to work a regular schedule of 7:30AM - 5:30PM Mon-Thurs and 7:30AM - 11:30AM Fri, occasional evening and weekend work. This position is fully on-site. It is not a remote or hybrid position.
• Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
• Highly client service oriented, self-starter, and team player
• Ability to solve problems
• Excellent time management skills
