What You Will Be Doing
This position is located in Lask Air Base, Poland, situated on the south western side of Warsaw, boasting a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural treasures. The candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), nose-to-tail, aircraft maintainer on the F‑35 CTOL airframe, working alongside Polish Air Force maintainers.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Being part of a maintenance team supporting the aircraft maintenance operation.
- Provide support in maintaining aircraft, including standard aircraft systems that include crew escape, weapons loading, and inspecting and maintaining.
- Support all other aircraft systems and subsystems as required. Perform Maintenance, Repairs, Launch, and Recovery activities.
- Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Perform all maintenance, inspections, and servicing requirements in accordance with instructions.
- Manage and assist in Field‑Level Modifications, and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance actions. Review and complete maintenance work orders requiring special certifications as locally required. Maintain and update aircraft records and status. Keep aircraft associated maintenance manager updated with aircraft status.
- Perform engine run ops, maintenance activities and supervise other maintenance activities on aircraft. Develop work schedules and assign tasks to other maintenance team members. Provide On‑The‑Job Training (OJT) as required to newly hired ICs team members and International country organic maintainers. Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced.
- Must be a self‑starter, demonstrate the ability to make timely decisions, and be willing to learn all facets of the nose‑to‑tail maintenance concept of the F‑35 aircraft while supporting maintenance and operational requirements.
- Must have working knowledge of Joint Technical Data (JTD), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) documentation and Action Request processing.
- Perform On‑The‑Job training for team members and partner aircraft maintenance personnel. Maintain and update aircraft records and status within the CMMS of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
- US citizenship and Secret security clearance mandatory.
Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Basic Qualifications- Must have 3‑years of hands‑on F‑35 maintenance experience, including working experience and knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Anomaly Fault Resolution System, Customer Relationship Management, Joint Technical Data Navigation, Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA)/Maintenance Vehicle Interface (MVI) activities, Configuration Management, and forms documentation and supply chain management activities.
- An associate’s degree or FAA A&P License with 4 years related experience; or a high school diploma with 8 years specialized working experience as 5 or 7‑skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, or CDI/CDQAR United States Marine Corps, or equivalent on Fighter Attack Aircraft.
- Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous maintenance activities; supervise other maintenance activities on aircraft. Develop work schedules and assign tasks to other maintenance team members.
- Working experience and knowledge of activities such as aircraft forms documentation and supply chain management activities.
- FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license
- Experience in F‑35 Avionics
- Experience in Crew Chief/Plane Captain duties
