• Responsible for managing the mortgage processing team.
• Compile income, asset, liability, and appraisal information.
• Maintain a good understanding of the different loan products, work with automated underwriting systems and be able to work with the lenders, investors and underwriters.
• Maintain up-to-date product and market changes and understand the impact the changes have on loan submissions.
• Work with the borrower during the loan process.
• Responsible for scanning closed mortgage loans.
• Responsible for answering Mortgage Originator’s phone if they are on the phone or away from their desk.
• Order verifications, appraisals, title work, proof of insurance, payoffs, and other documents as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience is required.
• College degree with banking and/or financial experience of 2 to 4 years is preferred.
• Knowledge on applicable computer software systems to include work processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members.
• Ability to adjust to change and a willingness to be a team player.
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to exercise judgment and make decisions within scope of authority.
• Ability to think and act quickly and to follow procedures.

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time as position involves majority of time spent at desk and computer.
• Little to no travel required.
