Houseperson

Residence Inn / Spring Hill Suites by Marriott Greenville Downtown is searching for a Houseperson to join our dynamic housekeeping team. Compensation is based on experience. Company benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts, and much more.

The purpose of the Houseperson is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for product cleanliness. The Houseperson must ensure guest satisfaction through hotel cleanliness and attention to our guests needs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for stocking room attendant/housekeeper carts with adequate supplies to complete assigned rooms and maintain an efficient cleaning cart.
• Maintain equipment such as vacuum and cleaning equipment, emptying vacuum cleaner bag as necessary.
• Notify supervisor or manager when shortage of supplies is noticed.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from room attendant/housekeeper's cart.
• Ensure that hotel public areas are within the standards of AURO Hotels and the brand.
• Report maintenance problems and complete work repair orders.

Experience/

Education:

High school diploma preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
