Oversee and coach Agile Master Community for the BMW IT Departments from Canada to Argentina.

Bridge requirements from the region Americas back to centrally steering the Agile function in Munich, Germany.

DAY-TO-DAY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeking an individual to mature the department’s Agile processes and engage with Agile Masters in the region. Experience as an Agile coach is preferred, but not mandatory. Must have fundamentals in business analysis, strong presentation, and steering skills. Capable of leading a group of Agile Masters in training and process management. The role involves advocating for Agile Masters regionally to the central team in Germany.

Ideal candidates have experience in governance and IT compliance topics, with opportunities for cross-training within the governance team. Responsibilities include creating communication materials and facilitating workshops and training sessions.

The role applies core Agile elements within Feature Teams, supporting project delivery, coordinating development aspects, and ensuring adherence to PMO standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to Agile practices like Sprint reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach feature teams on effective working methods and moderation.
• Support large initiatives using scaled Agile methodologies.
• Eliminate impediments for teams, managing impediment backlogs if needed.
• Assist Product Owners in backlog management and knowledge transfer.
• Visualize team performance with metrics and promote continuous improvement.
• Identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Protect teams during sprints from interruptions.
• Manage information flow between Product Owners and teams.
• Provide project management support and ensure client standards.
• Monitor project elements like time, cost, quality, and risks.
• Ensure Agile guidelines are followed in IT projects.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including Jira and Confluence.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent of 4 years professional IT experience.

Certifications:

PMO certification required.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in IT governance and SDLC.
• Knowledge of business operations in relevant areas.
• Understanding of databases, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
• At least 5 years in Agile methodologies, adhering to core Agile practices.
• Experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, and training of IT applications.
• Project management experience in small-to-medium projects.
• Customer service experience for 5+ years.
