Lead the project. Solve the right problem. Build something that lasts.
You already know how to run a project.
You can build a timeline, manage milestones, communicate with customers, and keep a small team moving. You may not know everything about EAM yet - and that's okay. We can teach you the platform.
What we need is someone who knows how to take an unclear business problem, create structure around it, and lead the work through completion.
Why Tech Wheelhouse?Tech Wheelhouse helps organizations make EAM the system their teams are happy to have. We solve complex operational, process, data, and technology problems so our customers can make better decisions and get more from their EAM investment.
We started in 2024, have grown to approximately 20 employees, and doubled our revenue in each of our first two years.
That growth creates a different kind of consulting opportunity.
You won't disappear into a massive project team or spend years waiting for meaningful responsibility. You'll work directly with customers, learn alongside experienced EAM and technical professionals, and see the impact of your work.
This is a good fit for someone who wants more ownership, fewer layers, and the opportunity to grow with a smaller company.
What You'll DoAs a Solutions Consultant, you'll lead medium-sized EAM implementation projects while managing the work of one or two junior consultants.
You'll be responsible for more than completing assigned tasks. You'll help create the plan, understand the customer's problem, keep the project moving, and make sure the solution delivers the intended result.
- Lead implementation projects from planning through delivery, including scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and customer communication.
- Understand the customer's operation and translate business needs into a practical project approach.
- Build and manage project plans, delivery timelines, action logs, status reports, and project documentation.
- Direct the day-to-day work of one or two junior consultants by setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, removing roadblocks, and providing feedback.
- Lead customer meetings, discovery sessions, working sessions, demonstrations, training, and project updates.
- Partner with Solution Architects and technical specialists to design solutions that address the real business problem - not simply recreate a broken process in new software.
- Configure and support EAM solutions while participating in testing, troubleshooting, reporting, integrations, and go-live support.
- Identify risks early, communicate them clearly, and drive decisions before they become delivery problems.
- Continue developing your knowledge of EAM, SQL, maintenance, reliability, and asset-management processes.
Customers understand the plan, know what is expected of them, and trust you to keep the project moving.
Milestones and deliverables are completed on time.
Problems are surfaced early instead of explained late.
Junior team members have clear priorities and the support needed to produce strong work.
The finished solution addresses the underlying business problem and is built to last.
You become increasingly self-sufficient while knowing when to bring in deeper technical or functional expertise.
You’ll Probably Thrive Here If...You finish what you start and don't need someone chasing you for the last 10%.
You enjoy taking an unclear problem and turning it into a practical plan.
You ask good questions, connect the dots, and look for better ways to solve problems.
You communicate confidently and build relationships with operators, technical teams, and executives.
You bring structure without burying people in process.
You are humble enough to…
