Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
• Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Court and trial appearances
• Client intake interviews and ongoing communications
• Motion Hearings
• Correspondence with opposing counsel/court
• Any other aspects related to representing the client’s needs in their Criminal/DUI matters
• Business Development responsibilities available with additional compensation beyond base salary (Bonus structure and incentives)

• Well‑versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
• Public speaking, decision‑making, communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills are necessary for this role
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
• Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
• Preferred 2 years of DUI Law experience, either in your own practice or as an associate at another firm; will still consider an applicant with no experience and provide mentorship and training
• Licensed in South Carolina
• Eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges
• Willingness to travel to contiguous counties
• Excellent written and oral advocacy
• Exceptional client service and a congenial and collaborative mindset

$65,000 - $90,000 yearly
