Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
A strong law firm in Greenville is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in South Carolina commercial real estate transactions, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review closing documents for SC commercial real estate closings.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence and follow-up.
- Draft and review loan documents for real estate lending transactions.
- Review title commitments and policies; handle title insurance matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Utilize Soft Pro for document preparation and transaction management (experience is a strong plus).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
- Proficiency in SC commercial real estate closings and title insurance.
- Experience in real estate lending transactions, including preparation of loan documents and due diligence review.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with legal software;
Soft Pro experience highly preferred.
- $35-40/hour
- Standard M-F office hours on-site
