We are seeking a full-time Area Charge Nurse who is passionate about transforming lives through exceptional patient care. This position provides nursing leadership and oversight while supporting high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care across assigned clinic and ASC locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Support accreditation and certification efforts from a nursing perspective, including JCAHO, AAA, ACHC, and state inspections.
  • Provide direction and oversight of patient care within the ambulatory care setting.
  • Manage and support nursing staff within assigned surgery centers and clinic locations.
  • Establish positive rapport with patients while promoting a compassionate care environment.
  • Maintain appropriate nursing coverage, including assisting with staff orientation, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensure daily nursing and clinical staff responsibilities are completed appropriately.
  • Establish and support patient care goals.
  • Educate and counsel patients and staff as needed.
  • Reinforce patient understanding of medical conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Address questions and concerns from patients and staff.
  • Resolve patient care needs utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
  • Protect patients and staff by supporting infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Enforce medication administration and controlled-substance regulations.
  • Ensure proper operation of medical and administrative equipment, including verification of emergency equipment, preventive maintenance requirements, equipment inventory, repairs, and evaluation of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to operations, fire safety, workplace safety, and infection control.
  • Effectively communicate administrative directives to personnel and encourage productive departmental meetings and discussions.
  • Maintain appropriate nursing supply inventory.
  • Foster cooperative working relationships through effective communication, information sharing, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain established standards of care consistent with the nursing division’s philosophy, policies, and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in good standing and without limitations in the applicable state of employment.
  • Nursing Compact License preferred;may berequiredto obtain within the first 90 days of employment based on operational needs.
  • Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience required.
  • At least 1 year of nursing management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory and accreditation processes preferred.
  • Ability to travel to assigned clinic and ASC locations as required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • The employee must communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively with patients, visitors, clinicians, coworkers, and vendors, including in busy, demanding, or stressful circumstances. The employee mustmaintainprofessional composure and consistently perform assigned duties throughout the scheduled work period; manage routine workplace stressors and feedback without disrupting patient care, patient-facing operations, or coworkers’ work; and use established de-escalation and escalation procedures when appropriate. The employee must exercise sound judgment;maintain appropriate

    workplace boundaries; receive and respond to routine feedback and direction; protect confidential patient and business information; and address patient or workplace concerns through established supervisory and safety procedures. These functions are essential to the position.
