• Shift: Days, 3×12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM; 36 hours/week.
• EMR:
  Epic — minimum 1 year of Epic experience required. Medication system:
  Omnicell.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of cardiac telemetry nursing experience. First-time travelers need 3 years of specialty experience. Level I trauma experience required.
• Weekend Requirement:
  Every other weekend is preferred, but flexibility is required based on unit needs.

  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

  Description:
  
  32-bed adult cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions, especially heart failure. Responsibilities include continuous EKG/oxygen monitoring, managing arrhythmias and cardiac medications, and preparing patients for cardiac catheterization, surgery, and other procedures.
• Patient Ratio: 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends.
• Radius Rule:
  Travelers generally must live 100+ miles from every Prisma Health facility.
