Lead Veterinarian – Greenville, SC
A progressive small animal practice is seeking a skilled Lead Veterinarian to provide medical leadership, mentor colleagues, and ensure high-quality care for patients. This role allows for professional growth in a collaborative environment while supporting the development of a strong, capable clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff
- Oversee patient care, including medical and surgical cases
- Establish and maintain high clinical standards within the practice
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional development
- Communicate effectively with clients and address medical questions or concerns
- Partner with management to support operational and clinical goals
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
- Strong clinical, leadership, and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
