FAR Inspections is seeking highly motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors can earn predictable full‑time or supplemental income with a flexible schedule. No prior mortgage inspection experience required; strong time‑management and deadline‑meeting skills are essential.

Reno, NV. FAR Inspections has operated for over nine years in the industry.
- Complete each inspection within 4 days of assignment.
- Verify property occupancy and report general condition using a mobile application.
- Take 9+ photos with brief comments.
- Finish a short form in the app.
- Spend extended periods driving within your county and making numerous stops.
- Most inspections are exterior only; 10% require interior photos if the property is vacant.
- Computer with internet connection.
- Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Printer.
- Background check clearance using a valid driver’s license.
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, ranging between $30 and $40 per hour depending on county and volume. You may complete anywhere from 20 to 500 inspections per month, working 2–30 hours per week. Pay increases with volume and territory coverage; no additional mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection.
