Sully's Steamers creates delicious sandwiches by placing excellent ingredients between two halves of a bagel. The sandwich is placed in a steamer, creating a hot, melty, tasty meal that no other concept creates. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Along with supervising portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high‑quality food preparation and service, including responding to guests' complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follows up with employees on assigned tasks.
• Monitor training of employees during shift.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must willing to submit to a background check.
