Summary: The Supplier Software Service Quoting Specialist will work on major supplier lines where software and service quote and order requirements are heavy. The specialist supports the Sales Teams by creating quotes and answering order questions.

• Work closely with Sales and Supplier(s) to prepare quotes for business partners
• Manage a queue of incoming software and service quotes and order questions
• Act as a focal point for software and service quoting for the assigned supplier line(s) within Scan Source
• Work closely with Scan Source Technical Teams to ensure that quotes are appropriately created
• Work with Sales teams to ensure all supplier required information is collected, enabling seamless and accurate order processing
• Provide excellent customer service and responsiveness
• Multitask in a high‑paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

• High School/GED
• Proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work within a cooperative team environment and perform assignments independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Prior sales or account management experience

• Annuity or recurring revenue quoting

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods
• Ability to be physically present at the workstation during normal business hours
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to lift 20 pounds

Base range: $47,000; total compensation: $52,000. Actual annual salary will be based on experience, education, skills, and achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
