Project Coordinator

Farmers Electric Cooperative is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our rapidly growing team. This position serves as the primary liaison between developers, contractors, and local officials to provide electric service to new developments. The role also includes managing system improvements, TXDOT relocations, and work plan projects. The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills to ensure the progression of our expansion goals.

This position requires problem-solving and a high degree of accuracy when designing and reviewing large-scale overhead and underground distribution systems while maintaining all applicable codes.

A related Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required; however, a higher degree may be substituted for experience. While electric distribution utility experience is a plus, multiple factors will be considered.

Remote work opportunities are available. The schedule is typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and minimal travel (less than 10%).
