Job Description- Test/verification of Avionics and Mission equipment compatibility as installed on military aircraft.
- Perform TEMPEST test at aircraft level to verify isolation of classified signals.
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Select test equipment based on analysis of specifications to support required testing.
- Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers.
- Use test equipment to analyze/verify hardware designs.
- Ability to travel.
- Work extended hours when necessary.
- RF/Microwave Device testing and evaluation including s-parameter, large signal load pull characterization as well as modulated signal measurements.
- Must have familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools to design and analyze RF circuits and systems (i.e. ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, etc.).
- Determine design approaches and parameters.
- Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, signal generators and Antenna theory.
