Job Description:

The L3

Harris Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) is seeking a self-motivated, high-energy individual to join our team as an Airworthiness Project Lead. This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively within a team. This position reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group.

Essential Functions:

* Collaborate on multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals.

* Participate in proposal and bid development, ensuring sound airworthiness strategies and accurate budgetary estimates.

* Create and review FAA and Military project certification plans and compliance reports.

* Track and report certification project status and budgets.

* Coordinate with company engineers on certification practices, concepts, and approaches to demonstrate compliance with FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria.

* Communicate effectively throughout the organization, including with leadership, customers, and vendors.

* Participate in process improvement initiatives and offer suggestions to enhance certification process efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

* Requires comprehensive knowledge of job area; may have in-depth knowledge of project management.

* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

* Strong project management skills related to certification processes and procedures. Preferred Additional

Skills:

* Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 23 and 25 regulations

* Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 criteria

* Existing DoD SECRET Security Clearance

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

* Previous experience with leading certification teams L3
