* Experience in modification of business jets is beneficial .
* Classical Stress Analysis
* Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and Femap
* Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs
* Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification
* Microsoft Word and Excel Nice to Haves:
* Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
* Knowledge of Commercial and Military Aircraft Certification Requirements.
* Would prefer a candidate to have at least 1 year of previous experience
Job Description:
Major purpose Stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques. Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and stress support to Liaison for modification of primary aircraft structure and interior items. Major functions Stress Analysis of Primary and Secondary Aircraft Structure Stress Support for New Design Stress Support to Liaison Engineering Preparation of Stress Analysis Reports Technical/Functional skills Required Skills Classical Stress Analysis Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and Femap Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification Microsoft Word and Excel Desired
Skills:
Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis Knowledge of Commercial and Military Aircraft Certification Requirements Education/Experience/Licenses etc.
Education:
Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
Experience:
