About the opportunity:
Identify and implement processes aimed at improving overall efficiency of plant operations.

• Coordinate and oversee Mold Shop personnel and ensure metrics are met.
• Develop and implement process technology in the plant to minimize variation and optimize manufacturing while reducing costs.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
• Support technical teams in root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
• Provide technical skill, knowledge, and judgment related to product quality.
• Provide technical input and support in advancement of equipment and tools.
• Manage/lead plant capital improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Level required:
Bachelor's Degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.

Required

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience using automation to improve process and flow
• Programmable logic controller experience

Desired

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge of existing and planned approaches for manufacturing products or components
• Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and techniques for designing, building, and managing the manufacture of new tools
• Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of employees, environment, and site

• 5%–10% travel; valid driver's license required/ motor vehicle report required
