Job Description- Test/verification of Avionics and Mission equipment compatibility as installed on military aircraft
- Perform TEMPEST test at aircraft level to verify isolation of classified signals
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Select test equipment based on analysis of specifications to support required testing
- Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers
- Use test equipment to analyze/verify hardware designs
- Ability to travel
- Work extended hours when necessary
- RF/Microwave Device testing and evaluation including s‑parameter, large signal load pull characterization as well as modulated signal measurements
- Must have familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools to design and analyze RF circuits and systems (i.e. ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, etc.)
- Determine design approaches and parameters
- Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge and/or experience with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, signal generators and Antenna theory
