Job DescriptionThe Sr. Product Training Specialist will be responsible for leading a team that works with subject‑matter experts to develop and deliver technical training for airborne and ground‑based systems.
Essential Functions- Attention to detail and follow‑up on all delegated assignments.
- Partnering with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and to coordinate completion with product release dates.
- Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements, and vendor spec sheets.
- Create course materials that ensure participants have a solid understanding of the systems, and the skills needed to operate or maintain their systems in their day‑to‑day responsibilities.
- Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting, trainer/simulator environment, or on aircraft.
- Works under general supervision and will contribute to various programs.
- Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in‑depth analysis of issues.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
- Training development and delivery in a technical environment.
- Gathering and utilizing metrics to improve program performance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics.
- Experience in the development of computer‑based training.
- Implementing training programs using instructional design methodology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator experience on one or more military ISR platforms.
- Graduate Degree with six (6) years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator experience on one or more military ISR platforms.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of ELINT/COMINT/SIGINT operator experience on one or more military ISR platforms.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Formal U.S. military instructional experience (TRADOC, AETC).
- Adobe Frame Maker.
- Electronic Warfare.
- Radar Signal Analysis, Communication Signals, Foreign Signals.
- Electromagnetic Spectrum Management.
- Emitter Location.
- Signal Identification.
- Technical ELINT (TECHELINT), Operational ELINT (OPELINT).
- Electronic Order of Battle (EOB).
- Voice Intercept.
- Signal Demodulation.
- High‑Frequency (HF) Communications, Secure Communications, Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Encrypted Communications.
- Linguistic Analysis, Exploitation Analysis.
- Signal Collection and Processing.
- Digital Network Intelligence (DNI).
- Traffic Analysis, Direction Finding, Geolocation.
