Job Description: Industrial Engineers will employ techniques and methods to assist functional management in implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in terms of productivity, quality, and cycle times.

Essential Functions
  • Perform work measurement, process flow analysis, and develop/implement tools/methods for measuring productivity and program cost performance.
  • Pull, analyze, and report data to support Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management in making key decisions.
  • Develop, validate, implement, and maintain labor standards for a variety of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Work jointly with cross‑functional engineering groups performing concurrent engineering and producibility analysis.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Communicate excellently across all levels (both written and verbal).
  • Learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
  • Develop manufacturing work standards.
Qualifications
  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
  • Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Skills:

  • The ability and drive to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Application of analytical/statistical techniques such as regression analysis and linear programming.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain/logistics methods and processes.
  • Work experience in non‑repetitive, design‑to‑order manufacturing environments.
  • Six Sigma Belt (Yellow, Green or Black) and/or Lean Expert Certification.
