We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to develop, maintain, integrate, and manage ground ISR systems, networks, and system storage devices. The role involves both software and systems engineering, working with various departments to manage and develop ISR ground systems within L3

Harris. The incumbent will work primarily with existing infrastructure and will be required to travel worldwide for regular updates at all field locations. The candidate must be able to communicate technically with coworkers as well as at a higher management and customer level.

• Identify and find solutions for defects and mitigate risk.
• Multi‑task across numerous and varying system projects simultaneously.
• Test and troubleshoot multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, NETAPP).
• Familiarity with engineering tools.
• Understand RC135 platform, CI, MSI, and flight line stages.

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience.
  
  Thorough understanding of how software works in conjunction with hardware interdependencies.
• Experience with Linux.
• Ability to manage requirements through all phases of a project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong professional interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and third‑party vendors.
• Travel 10% of the time and can provide subject‑matter expertise at operating locations worldwide.

• Clear understanding of software troubleshooting processes.
• Ability to identify and solve problems using logical engineering thought processes.
• Enterprise LAN knowledge.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
