Vehicle Technician

Vehicle Technician – Woolwich We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a large, fast-paced dealership workshop in Woolwich. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have at least 2 years' relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months and have the right to work in the UK.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:30pm, paid as overtime Reference: 31383 Vehicle Technician Company Benefits £50,000–£60,000 realistic earning potential Uncapped productivity bonus Saturday overtime paid in addition to basic salary 31 days' annual leave including bank holidays Holiday entitlement increasing with service Manufacturer technical and accreditation training Electric and Hybrid Vehicle training Pension scheme and Life Assurance Private healthcare access Employee vehicle ownership scheme Retail and high street discounts Employee Assistance Programme Referral bonus scheme Progression into Diagnostic, Master Technician and Workshop Management roles Vehicle Technician Role Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment Replace components and complete authorised repairs efficiently Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements Complete video vehicle health checks and accurately report findings Road test vehicles following repairs where required Maintain accurate workshop documentation and work towards productivity targets Vehicle Technician Requirements Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, including IMI, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent – essential Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic Main dealership experience is strongly preferred Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic capability Comfortable working within a busy, target-driven workshop Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months – essential Right to work in the UK
