Quantity Surveyor

Position: Package Quantity Surveyor
Location: Greenwich

We are recruiting a Freelance Package Surveyor for a Mixed Use Development in Greenwich. This person will be responsible for the commercial management of allocated trade packages from procurement through to final account, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance and value delivery across a mixed-use residential and commercial scheme.

Key Responsibilities

* Procure and manage subcontract trade packages.

* Prepare tender enquiries, analyse returns and negotiate subcontract orders.

* Administer subcontract accounts, including payments, variations and final accounts.

* Monitor package budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities.

* Contribute to monthly CVRs and commercial reporting.

* Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.

* Maintain accurate records and contractual documentation.

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.

* 3–6 years' experience with a main contractor or developer.

* Experience managing subcontract packages on residential or mixed-use projects.

* Good understanding of JCT contracts.

* Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
