Quantity Surveyor - South East London (Office based)
Taking ownership of high profile Transport for London & National Highways projects!
£55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits Package
Required:
Background in Civil Engineering, Electrical Infrastructure, or Highways + NEC Contract experience.
As the new QS/ Quantity Surveyor, you'll join a highly respected M&E business with over 80 staff, an excellent reputation and very modern facilities!

The Quantity Surveyor / QS day to day:
As the new QS / Quantity Surveyor you'll step into a high influence role with clear expectations to help you succeed, protect margins, and take full commercial ownership from day one.
Leading the commercial management of major infrastructure and maintenance projects from award to final account Preparing monthly applications for payment and detailed cost reports
Managing subcontractor accounts and supporting procurement processes Handling change control, compensation events (NEC), and project variations Managing cost reporting, accurate monthly forecasting, and commercial risk mitigation Liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to negotiate terms and resolve queries Helping to build and improve commercial governance processes across the wider business
