Teaching Assistant; Temporary

Position: Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4) – Greenwich

Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work across a range of supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary schools in Greenwich, supporting students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage
4. This role may involve working in different schools on a daily basis, depending on the needs of our partner schools.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students in a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4
Assist class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where needed
Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment
Adapt to different school environments and routines when working on a daily supply basis

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Flexibility and confidence working in different school settings
A genuine desire to help young people succeed academically and personally
