Job Title:
Teacher of Dance (KS5 Specialist) - Immediate Start
Location:
Greenwich, South East London
Pay Rate: £117 - £237 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type:
Temporary, Full-time (Tuesdays - Fridays)
Start Date:
Immediate start until July 2026
About the Role
A large, popular, and inclusive secondary school and sixth form in Greenwich is seeking a passionate and first-class Teacher of Dance to join their well-established and successful Performing Arts faculty on an immediate basis.
The school prides itself on providing an education that helps students understand the world and change it for the better. The commitment to the performing arts is evident in the modern, specialist facilities which provide an exceptional environment for students to learn, create, and perform.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Have proven experience and a passion for teaching Dance at Key Stage 5 (KS5 / A-Level) .
* Be able to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Be a passionate subject expert, committed to fostering a love for dance in students of all abilities.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Be committed to developing an enriching curriculum and contributing to the extra-curricular programme.
* Be available for an immediate start and able to work Tuesdays through Fridays.
