Secondary School SEN Teaching Assistant

95-115 per day | Full Time | Immediate Start Available

Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school
. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential.

The role involves supporting students with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, improve engagement, and develop both academically and socially.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
• Supporting learning across a range of secondary subjects
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Adapting resources to meet individual learning needs
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, proactive and resilient approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
