About the Role

A welcoming and inclusive Greenwich primary school is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with mild learning needs and attention difficulties. The pupil benefits from structure, patience and clear routines, and the school is seeking someone calm, encouraging and proactive.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support in-class learning, carry out short targeted interventions, help with organisation, and work alongside the SENCo to adapt resources. The school has a collaborative upper KS2 team and provides strong guidance for new staff.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is hoping to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who:

Has experience supporting SEND or KS2 learners

Can provide consistent encouragement and behaviour support

Communicates clearly with teachers, parents and SEN staff

Is reliable, positive and able to follow a structured support plan
