KS1 Teacher – Primary School, Woolwich

Prospero Teaching is looking for a KS1 Teacher for a mainstream primary school in the Woolwich area. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and is progressing strongly, with training provided to all staff.

• Position: KS1 Teacher (Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parent evenings, etc.)
• Employment Type:
  
  Full time, temporary contract (two terms during the academic year)
• Start Date:
  
  September 2026 – End Date:
  July 2027
• Minimum Daily Rate: £170
• Hours:
  
  8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the last year

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child‑barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service (or ability to apply for one)
• Two professional child‑related references covering at least the last two years
