x1 - Tutor of Functional Skills - Maths and English

x1 - Tutor - embedding Literacy, Numeracy, Employability and Digital Skills

Centre based
Salary: up to £40,000 (Depending on skills and experience & inclusive of location uplift)
Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Duties:

Deliver Functional Skills Maths and/or English within a classroom environment (up to Level
2).
Embedding Literacy, Numeracy, Digital Skills and Employability into lessons
Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.

Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.

Essential Criteria :

Must have experience of delivering relevant Functional Skills training to small groups of learners.
Must hold a Level 3 in English / Maths or equivalent.
Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
