A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Co-educational Secondary School in South East London.
This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing pupil behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Ensuring students complete their work based on the lesson objective
- Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupil's behaviour and standard of work
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £85.50 to £116.55 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The SchoolA Mixed Free School for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old located in the London Borough of Greenwich.
Established in 2012, the school now has just over 550 pupils on enrolment.
There is a strict discipline policy, which included a ban on pupils having mobile phones and sweets on school grounds.
GCSE attainment has previously been the 4th highest in the country amongst non-selective schools and attendance is also amongst the very best in the country.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers/young people or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
