Protocol Education is recruiting
SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in inclusive mainstream primary schools, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. You'll play a key role in helping children build confidence, engage with learning, and achieve their individual goals in a supportive classroom environment.
We have a variety of
full-time, part-time, long-term and daily supply opportunities available to suit your availability.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Helping children access the curriculum through tailored learning strategies
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building trusting relationships that promote confidence and independence
- Supporting pupils with personal, social and emotional development
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Learning difficulties and developmental delays
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, either in schools or through care, childcare, youth work or similar settings
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
