6am starts, 42.5 hours per week

£10 - £11 per hour

Working in a busy clean room environment, for a large engineering site based in North Greenwich we are looking for a skilled testing and assembling operative to join a team of Wiremen, Test Technicians and Assembly Operatives.

Working to ensure efficient, safe and accurate assembly, wiring and testing of electronic sub-assembly, power feeding equipment, test suites and racks. You will be responsible for the manufacture of high quality products.

The role will include but is not limited to:

• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports
• Fiber Handling
• Hand soldering, and harness and PCB assembly
• Mechanical assembly of sensors, test fixtures and electronics chassis
• Following specific workmanship instructions, multitasking
• Pack finished products for shipment.
• Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Computer Literate: competent with MS Office and Data inputs

Candidates will be required to attend an assessment day on site as well as attending an interview with the client.
