We are a very fast-growing manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our leadership team in White Plains, NY. This is a high-impact role with significant growth potential, offering the opportunity to build out and lead a team as the company continues to scale. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a background in manufacturing operations, and ideally public accounting experience.

You will oversee core accounting functions, manage the month-end close, and drive continuous improvement in processes and controls to support our rapid growth.

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, and payroll.

• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate inventory and cost accounting.

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Support and coordinate external audits and tax filings.

• Manage and mentor accounting staff, with responsibility for building and expanding the team as the company grows.

• Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.

• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred).

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

• Manufacturing industry accounting experience highly preferred (cost accounting, inventory management, COGS analysis).

• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firm) is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
