Job Title: Senior Accountant
About the RoleWe are partnering with our client, a leading healthcare organization, to hire a Senior Accountant with strong Net Suite experience. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, while also assisting in process improvements and system optimization within Net Suite.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Analyze variances and provide insights to management regarding key financial metrics and performance trends.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including FP&A, operations, and compliance—to support business decisions.
- Leverage Net Suite ERP to enhance accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and data automation.
- Support special projects, including system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare, medical services, or life sciences industry.
- Strong proficiency in Net Suite ERP—including reporting, journal entry processing, and account reconciliation modules.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
