Overview

The Business Analyst / Project Manager supports execution and operational excellence across the firm’s investment management platform. This individual will play a hands‑on role in advancing strategic and operational initiatives — managing projects, coordinating vendor assessments and implementations, supporting corporate development analysis, and producing high‑quality materials for management discussion.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytically minded self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about learning how to operate and scale an investment management business. This person relentlessly drives execution of corporate initiatives — ensuring that plans are translated into action, milestones are achieved, and outcomes are measured — while using data and critical thinking to make practical recommendations.

This position is ideal for a high‑potential, early‑career professional who aspires to grow into a future operating leader. The successful candidate will combine strong project management, analytical, and communication skills with intellectual curiosity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

    • Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, and due diligence processes across key firm functions.
    • Assist with technology and operational rollouts, coordinating testing, training, and communication.
    • Support ongoing vendor management, performance monitoring, and issue escalation.
  • Presentation Development
    • Develop professional‑quality PowerPoint presentations, reporting packs, and visual analyses.
    • Translate technical and financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with teams across Legal & Compliance, Operations & Accounting, Technology, HR, Marketing & Investor Relations, and Administration to advance firm priorities.
    • Coordinate and contribute to multi‑department projects that improve operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
    • Relentlessly track progress on key initiatives and ensure follow‑through on action items.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve execution discipline.
    • Support a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, including internships in business analysis, consulting, operations, or finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts) and strong PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Demonstrated project management ability — experience building and maintaining project plans, meeting deadlines, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; comfort building basic financial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare concise, professional materials for senior audiences.
  • Highly organized, self‑directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
