COMPANY: University of Connecticut Marine Sciences

ABOUTThe 90’ R/V Connecticut has an immediate opening for full time Mate.
- Applicants must have at sea experience (research vessel experience preferred) and minimum 150 Ton Near Coastal Mate license.
- Vessel is DP equipped and supports oceanographic research including mooring operations, ROV ops, survey, and diving.
- Mate will run a watch, oversee deck operations and help with maintenance including in engine room.
- Cruises are 1-14 days in duration and vessel can be away from home port 30 days at a time.
