A. Uzzo & Company is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and compliance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service to clients. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
- Conduct tax research and apply current laws and regulations
- Work directly with clients to gather information and resolve inquiries
- Analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Assist with tax planning strategies for clients
- Maintain professional and timely communication with clients and internal staff
- Support the firm in meeting critical filing deadlines and workload demands
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of professional tax experience
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proficiency with tax software and standard office applications
- Excellent communication, client service, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
