The RoleTax Services Associates work as part of client service teams, receiving formal and on‑the‑job training. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, participating in tax planning and consultation, and addressing complex business issues with our consulting teams.
Associate Responsibilities Include- Researching tax laws, rules, and regulations and analyzing their application to specific situations, drafting memorandums to defend decisions or outlining solutions.
- Participating in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
- Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback.
- Supporting select projects that demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member.
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD, or LLM.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Self‑starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through written and verbal communication.
Preferred:
Students eligible to sit for the primary credential exam, such as CPA, with 150 credit hours in certain states.
Salary Range (Greenwich, Connecticut): $72,500 – $96,500, based on qualifications and experience.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, 160 hours of paid time off annually, plus twelve paid holidays.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis upon hire. Andersen does not consider candidates requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
