MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FOR 12 HOURS

DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help patients with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support

• Ability to lift and move patients safely and with proper body mechanics
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and infection control protocols
• Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Understanding of social work principles for providing holistic care to patients
• Familiarity with dementia care practices and behavior management techniques
• Previous experience in homecare or related fields is a plus
