Banquet Servers
Join our dynamic team at The Old Orchand Inn, a premier conference hotel located in the heart of the Annapolis Valley! We specialize in hosting weddings, conferences, and social gatherings, offering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Banquet Servers to help deliver a top-tier dining experience for our guests.
Position OverviewAs a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in ensuring our events run smoothly and our guests have an unforgettable experience. You will work with an experienced team to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and break down banquet and event spaces.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Assist with event coordination and ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Work collaboratively with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and other team members.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) is a requirement.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
