Are you a seasoned Sodexo leader ready to drive excellence at one of the region's most respected community hospitals? Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5‑Food to lead food and nutrition operations at Greenwich Hospital, a proud member of the Yale New Haven Health System.

As the General Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for food services, overseeing a comprehensive acute care operation in a 200+ bed facility. This is a high‑visibility role requiring a leader who can balance superior patient dining with a sophisticated retail and catering program.

What You'll Do

You will inherit a robust management infrastructure, leading a talented team of 6–8 Sodexo Managers (including Retail, Executive Chef, Patient Services, and Patient Experience) and over 30 frontline staff.

Key Areas of Oversight

• Main Retail Cafe:
Featuring a modern Micro Market and diverse culinary offerings.

• Patient Dining:
Delivering high‑quality, "At Your Request" style patient nutrition.

• Catering Services:
Managing high‑end catering for hospital events and executive needs.

What You Bring

• Proven Sodexo Leadership:
Internal candidates who are deeply familiar with Sodexo’s systems (UFS, Gold Check, Market Connection) a plus (not required).

• Healthcare Expertise:
Extensive experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Executive Presence:
Ability to build high‑level relationships with hospital C‑suite and clinical leadership.

• Financial Acumen:
Expert‑level management of P&L, labor costs, and operational budgets.
