Entry Level Inside Sales Associate

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Entry Level Sales Associate / Protein Trader located in Greenwich, CT or Nashville, TN. The role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and negotiating daily protein sales. The associate will be responsible for cold calling and building a clientele book, requesting pricing / product from senior buyers to sell on open market, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to stay informed about industry trends and provide clients with the best solutions.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Sales and business development abilities, including identifying opportunities and generating leads
• Organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Basic knowledge of the protein or food distribution industry is a plus
• Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
