The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with administrative duties associated with the project, including material releases, vendor follow‑up, coding invoices for A/P, routine correspondence, field dimensioning, change orders, submittals, and labor and delivery schedules.

• Assist in the development, preparation, and finalization of project schedule.
• Procuring and submitting all project submittal information and managing the approval process.
• Administer subcontract requirements, contract documents, and change orders.
• Coordinate communications and correspondences with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure project quality control procedures are followed during construction in accordance with contract documents and ISEC policies and procedures.
• Ensure job closeout is performed efficiently, keeping the Project Manager informed.
• Assist in resolving conflicts with clients and customers.
• Record applicable information in Project Control/Document Control System with target dates for task completion.
• Review job costs with Project Manager.
• Manage shop drawings through project specifications, general contractor review, and final field installation, following up on changes or delays.
• Release materials in a timely manner and coordinate deliveries.
• Visit job sites as needed to review progress and understand the job‑site environment.
• Maintain a shortage and breakage log and reorder material as necessary.
• Prepare operations and maintenance manuals, guarantees, and submit them in accordance with specification requirements.
• Assist Project Manager in preparing monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.

• Coach employees who need improvement and assign work only to those trained and qualified.
• Ensure all recognized safety deficiencies are promptly corrected.
• Report all injuries and incidents to Managers and the Safety Department.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries to the job following safe and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 0 – 3 years of experience

• Basic knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects
• Understanding of project plans and specifications
• Ability to work autonomously at times
• Seeking guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisor approval for changes in standards
• Engagement in company culture

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail‑oriented
